CIRE.’S Story
I would firstly like to introduce myself, my name is Charlotte Ryan, and I am the 17-year-old founder of CIRE. The Label. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.
CIRE. The Label was originally an idea created from my own original experience with the fashion world, for us teenagers and fashion girls. Fast fashion brands are all jumping on the same micro trends that don’t hold longevity within the industry. Due to all these brands competing against each other, we all end up dressing the same. In the meantime, we losing our identity and individuality without realising it.
I’ve always loved opshopping and thrifting. There’s something so satisfying about flicking through racks and finding those hidden gems. But growing up in a rural area — and not having my license yet — I couldn’t always get to the stores. So I’d fill that craving with online shopping… and honestly? It sucked.
If you’ve ever tried shopping secondhand online, you’ll get it. The pieces are shown in bad lighting, lifeless on hangers, and styled with no effort. It just doesn’t feel inspiring, and definitely not worth spending money on.
That’s where CIRE. The label comes in.
I wanted to change that experience for all the girls who don’t have easy access to physical thrift stores, and for those who do, but find it overwhelming and time-consuming.
CIRE. The label is your go-to for an immersive online secondhand experience.

Creative spirit
From a young age, I’ve always loved sharing my art with others. Creativity has played an important part of who I am- Wheather it was through painting, designing, or simply expressing myself, in ways words wouldn't . The flower in the above painting is a motif in my life. Hint: Why first drop is bloom.

Passion for fashion
Growing up, I refused to leave the house unless I loved my outfit. That early love for fashion never faded- if anything, it’s grown stronger. For 17 years, I’ve been drawn to this form of self-expression.

Sport Took Over, Fashion Took a Break
Sport started to become a priority through my school years. Which I took very seriously, meaning I retired my passion for fashion for a short period of time. This time was filled with mostly wearing sports uniforms, in and out of playing. This is were I became more interested in painting instead.

Introduction to social media
Entering high school and gaining access to social media, I became heavily influenced by 2021 trends like “Aussie girl” fashion. Influencers such as Sophadopha and Georgia Hansen were making items sell out, shaping how many girls dressed—including me. I’ll be honest: I followed the trends and bought into fast fashion (as seen above). But I never felt like myself. Everyone looked the same, and I didn’t feel confident or creatively inspired.

Dressing for Me Again
I checked in with myself and realised I wasn’t confident or expressing my true identity through what I wore—something I naturally did when I was younger. So, I chose to reconnect with that younger version of me, who now inspires me daily. I started dressing for me, not for trends. To bring back the joy and passion I have for fashion, in ways that help our planet and to other girlies who’ve felt the same.

Spreading Joy
I now have fun. Styling. Creating tuning in with myself. Doing what I love most, and feel most passion about. Not just fashion but. Thrifting! Saving our planet! and most importantly helping people, find themselves! Because trust me i have been there: But i’m here to help you skip that awkward, unconfidnet stage.
